5 Ways You Can Torment Demons

The following are five spiritual disciplines you can start today and walk in that will absolutely strike terror in your enemy. Here ya go . . .

1. Be filled with the Holy Spirit – The Holy Spirit in you is God’s presence. And as you are filled and carry God’s presence with you God goes before you and changes the very atmosphere you enter. Wherever you go make sure you ask the Lord to fill you with His anointing and presence by the Holy Spirit. Demons can’t stand it when you are filled with the Spirit.

2. Speak His word- Jesus overcame Satan by speaking the word of God (Luke 4). Did you ever notice that Satan eventually shut up when Jesus spoke the word of God? You too can shut up demons when you quote God’s word. You too can say, “It is written” and quote His promise. I’ve literally heard demons say they hate the word of God.

3. Speak His blood – The Bible says we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony (Rev. 12:11).
(Revelation 12:11
And our brothers and sisters defeated him
by the blood of the Lamb’s death
and by the message they preached.)
I’ve heard demons speak out of people begging us to stop talking about the blood of Jesus Christ. They said, “Its power we don’t have”. So, guys, thank God for Jesus blood. Thank Him for cleansing our sin by His blood.

4. Worship Him – The Bible says that we are surrounded by songs of deliverance (Psalms 32:7
You are my hiding place.
You protect me from my troubles
and fill me with songs of salvation. Selah.)
The Bible also says when we worship Him the enemy is silenced (Ps. 8:2). (Psalms 8:2
You have taught children and babies
to sing praises to you
because of your enemies.
And so you silence your enemies
and destroy those who try to get even.)
So, one of the strongest weapons we have to torment demonic strongholds is through praise and worship. Get the focus on Him, worship Him, and the enemy will flee. Demons hate it when you worship.

5. Fast – Jesus said some types of demons come out after prayer and fasting (Matthew 17:21) Matthew 17:21
That kind of spirit comes out only if you use prayer and fasting.]”
Thus, when you fast you position yourself for God’s anointing power to torment and drive out demons. So men, pick one day a week to fast. Is it hard? Sure it is. But is it worth it? Absolutely!! So take back your authority and anointing by fasting and watch what happens.

The bottom line
Today, make a decision to stop running and worrying about what the enemy is going to do to you. It should be when you get up in the morning an alarm goes off in hell warning demons that you’re awake and to be careful. It should be that wherever you go God’s presence, peace, power and purpose fills your life. It should be you who does the tormenting . . . So today – do the above five things and get ready for a victorious year!

In Jesus name!
